Important information about RiverPlex Summer Camp
Our program provides a wide variety of activities which include, but are not limited to: playing in our indoor AquaPlex as well as our outdoor water/sand play area, arts and crafts, health and fitness activities and sport activities in our climate controlled arena. In addition, we have access to a variety of activities such as the Rolling River playground, the RiverFront biking/walking trail, the downtown fountain and much more. Counselors are trained in leadership, safety procedures, activities and supervisory skills.
Children will be grouped according to age. Campers should bring their own lunch, swimsuit and towel on a daily basis. Drinks and snacks will be
provided in the afternoon. All fieldtrips and activities are subject to change. Children will participate in a wide variety of activities on a daily basis and we ask that your child wears the proper footwear.
Camp runs Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. If camp hours don’t fit your schedule, extended care is available from 7am-9am and 5:00pm-5:30pm for an additional $18/week. Be sure to add the extended care code to your registration form.
Want to register online for any of these camps? You can register through the Peoria Park District's Online Registration system. (Please be aware that you will not receive a member discount with this option.)
Please note: Any parent with a child attending RiverPlex Holiday Camp will need to complete an Emergency Contact Form.
If your child needs to take medication during camp hours or has the need for an inhaler during camp hours, the parent must also complete the following forms. These forms must be returned on the first day of camp or we will not be able to dispense medications to your child.
