
Without a doubt, personal training is a great way to learn the latest tactics in the world of fitness. But it also helps you realize your potential and physical ability. It builds your confidence and self-esteem. And it allows you to gain control over your own body image.
The RiverPlex Recreation and Wellness Center employs personal trainers that have the education and training to help you meet all of your fitness goals. Our team will show you how to participate in a safe and productive exercise program that will give you results. Whether you are looking to add some intensity to your current fitness routine or just getting started in the pursuit of your fitness goals, we can help develop a training program for your specific needs. The RiverPlex team of trainers is here and ready to help you!
Every new member will be enrolled in our Healthy Start Program, a one-hour course to help familiarize new members with the basics of healthy eating, weight loss, and goal setting. You will also learn to create your own workout program including the FITT principle, proper form, and designing your strength, cardio, and flexibility routine. Classes are held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00am and led by OSF registered dieticians and RiverPlex personal trainers. Group Rate
Your group of 4 or more can work with a personal trainer 2 days per week for 6 weeks. This 12-session group rate is $150/person.
Plex-Flex Sessions begin soon!
Workout 1, 2, or 3 times per week with a group led by several personal trainers for full body weight training. Workouts will get your heart racing, blood pumping, and keep your motivational levels high!
Session I: April 16-May 26
Session II: June 4-July 14
Choose 1, 2, or 3 workouts per week:
Mondays: 5:45-6:45 am or 5:30-6:30 pm
Thursdays: 5:45-6:45 am or 5:30-6:30 pm
Saturdays: 9:00-10:00 am

Mark Hemmer: • Certification - AFAA Mark is an avid exercise enthusiast. He’s always up for trying out new ways to wreck his body. As a result of that sickness, he’s forayed into competitive rock climbing, running races, and innovative weight lifting and cross training regimens. As a trainer, Mark likes to dig into his repertoire of fitness moves to create programs that challenge and produce results, while having fun, too. His biggest goal for his clients is to see them embrace exercise and fitness as a component of their daily lives. Whether you’re looking to add hypertrophy, endurance, or achieve an overall sense of well-being and ability, he’s more than happy to give you the tools to get there. |
