Want to register online for any of these camps? You can register through the Peoria Park District's Online Registration system. (Please be aware that you will not receive a member discount with this option.)
Please note: Any parent with a child attending RiverPlex Summer Day Camp will need to complete an Emergency Contact Form.
If your child needs to take medication during camp hours or has the need for an inhaler during camp hours, the parent must also complete the following forms. These forms must be returned on the first day of camp or we will not be able to dispense medications to your child.
Summer Day Camp
Come join the RiverPlex Summer Day Camp! Our program provides a wide variety of activities which include, but are not limited to:
- playing in our indoor AquaPlex as well as our outdoor water/sand play area
- arts and crafts
- sport activities in our climate controlled arena.
In addition, we have access to a variety of activities such as:
- the Rolling River playground
- the RiverFront biking/walking trail
- and much more.
Counselors are trained in leadership, safety procedures, activities and supervisory skills.
Children will be grouped according to age.
Campers should bring their own lunch, swimsuit and towel.
Drinks and snacks will be provided in the afternoon.
All field trips and activities are subject to change.
Camp runs Monday - Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Fee: $105 Member/$110 Resident/$115 Non-Resident per session
*Note starred weeks are $84 Member/$88 Resident/$92 Non-Resident (shortened weeks)
Extended Camp Care available from 7-9am & 5-5:30pm for an additional $18/week.

How can you join the ranks of Angelina Jolie, Peyton Manning and England’s Prince Harry? You don’t have to become a superstar – you just have to reach out and serve your community. These famous personalities volunteer their time to causes that better our world – and the RiverPlex’s “Reach Out, Reach Up” Camp can show you how to make a difference as well.
If you are 13 to 15 years old, this forum will provide you with wonderful learning experiences that will build your self esteem and help you gain self confidence, all while lending a hand in your community. Local agencies, including the Park District, have developed service projects especially for this program. Participants will apply their time and talents towards the betterment of our community, and walk away from the experience knowing THEY made a difference. Young adults attending the camp will also learn about the employment process and get tips on how to fill out applications, interview, and maintain a positive work ethic once they are ready for a job. Campers should bring their lunch daily. Reach out to your community, and see how far you can go – sign up for camp today!
